Hello families and friends,
We started our day with two rounds of Daily 5. Then we went to gym and we continued our skipping. Today we started some tricks. Ask your child about this. Then in writing we made adjective cards. Ask your child which adjective they chose.
In math we practiced adding and subtracting 10s. Ask your child about this. We also practiced our song, Heal the World. Then we finished our day with some science. We continued our look at leaves.
Fun Lunch is coming up.
Plant order forms are going home today.
For Parents: What does the stoma/stomata do for the leaf? Post your answer in the comments below.
Have a wonderful Wednesday,
Room 74 and Mr. Soulliere
They let the leaves "breathe"?
ReplyDeleteI learned Stomata means "mouth" in Greek.
ReplyDeleteStomata allows gases in and out of the leaf like carbon dioxide, water vapor and oxygen.
