November 13, 2014

Hello families and friends,

This morning we did some Read to Self and Read to Someone for 15 minutes each.  Then we had dance with Ms. Janelle.  We worked on swing dancing.  Then we had Roots of Empathy with Mrs. Fernandez.  We learned not to shake babies.  Then we had some free writing time.  Ask your child what they wrote about.

In the afternoon we worked on "Triple Scoop Words".  These are juicy words that are more descriptive.  After word work we did increasing and decreasing number patterns in math.  At the end of the day we did some science.  Ask your child about this.

Adults:  What temperature does Lola (a leopard gecko) like her tank to be?  Post your answer in the comments below.

Permission forms for the Science Centre field trip need to be returned as soon as possible.  We are still short a couple volunteers.  If you are able to come please email Mr. Soulliere at <gasoulliere@cbe.ab.ca>.

Have a good evening,
Room 74 and Mr. Soulliere
