Hello families and friends,
This morning we did some writing about our weekend. We had outside gym. Ask your child about this. We practiced read to self, read to someone and listening to reading for 13 minutes. In word work we worked on /sh/ and /zh/. Ask your child about this.
This afternoon we worked on our math skills. We had a bunch of manipulatives in our bags and we had to take out either 7 or 20 (for grade one or two) and draw out our groups and write the number sentences. We also worked on our doubles. Ask your child about what we did at the end of the day in science.

Have a great evening,
Room 74 and Mr. Soulliere
The earth is tilted on its axis away from the sun in the winter while on the elliptical orbit around the sun.
ReplyDeleteHope says "to get ready for winter"
ReplyDeleteAron says that this part of the Earth (Northern Hemisphere) gets further away from the Sun.
ReplyDeleteIt has to do with the angle the suns rays hit the earth. In summer the rays hit more direct and in winter indirect.
